| Greens Sale:
The EGC will have a sale of fresh greens for holiday decorations at Easton's Festival of
Lights on Saturday, December 2. Our table will be located on the front porch of Oakes Ames
Memorial Hall. Two workshops are scheduled to make assorted decorations such as wreaths
and swags. We will meet Sunday, November 26 at 9:00 am at Nancy Cohenno's, and Tuesday,
November 28, at 4:00 pm at Kim Bertram's. Please join us for these fun workshops, and
bring with you cut greens, berries and any Christmas containers you would like to donate
to the sale. Window Boxes: It's window box time again! We will be meeting on Thursday morning, November 30 at 10:00am, in the Immaculate Conception Church parking lot to replace the mums with fresh greens, berries and bows. The more the merrier - please come and help and get into the holiday spirit! Presidents' Night: As November's meeting is Presidents' night, we will be giving all the area garden club presidents and their guests attending a gift of fresh greens in a decorative vase. We will be gathering at Nancy Cohenno's to arrange the greens on Sunday morning, November 5 at 9:00am. Please join us if you can help. New Member: The EGC is happy to welcome new member Deborah Bryant of North Easton. Newport House Tour: Garden Walks Chairperson, Joyce Holster will once again lead a field trip to a holiday tour of sea captains' houses in Newport, RI. The date of the tour is Wednesday, December 27, 2000, and the admission to each of the houses is $4. Interested members please call Joyce for further details and to sign up. EGC Book Corrections and Additions: If anyone has an addition or correction to the EGC 2000/2001 book please let me know and I will update everyone through the newsletter.
