Langwater Tour Update: The "Christmas at Langwater – A Walk Back in Time" house tour hours have been changed. The new tour hours will be as follows: Saturday, December 4th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm; and Sunday, December 5th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Entrance for all Easton Garden Club members will be free of charge, but you must pick up your name badge at the gate lodge prior to admittance. Additionally, all club members will be expected to hostess or take tickets for at least one hour during the tour. This is a very large event for the club and we need everyone’s help. If tour chairperson Jan Fowler has not contacted you, please give her a call to sign-up for a time. Don’t miss out on our last great affair of the millennium!

Main Street Baskets: Chairperson of Village Improvement Darya Cotter needs volunteers to help her make the baskets for decorating Main Street. If you have a free hour or two to help, stop by Darya’s garage on Saturday, November 20th at 10:00 am. Please bring greens and berries!

Daffodil Update: There will be a daffodil planting Saturday, November 6th at 9:00 am at the fire station located on Bay Road. Please lend a little time if you can help. We will be planting around 2,400 bulbs and really could use a few hands to make it a quick job. The club has donated over 6,000 bulbs this year to schools, churches and other town organizations. Our last daffodil give-away will be as small gifts to all the guests who join us at the November "Guest Night" meeting.

Last Call for Flower Show Plants: Joyce Holster, who is heading up the EGC bay window project at the New England Flower Show in the spring, is still seeking plants. Contact Joyce who will "audition" any east window/low light plants you may have that are in excellent condition, large or small.

A Garden Note: VP and Horticulture Chairperson Davie McNamara suggests that this is an ideal time to plant viola and pansy seeds! Also, don’t forget to save (and label) your favorite seeds for the "Great Seed Swap" sometime in February.

A Ticket Donation: The house tour chairpeople have decided that the club will donate ten tickets to Elise Circle and Parker Terrace to be distributed or raffled to the residents at their discretion.
